Shannon lives on a small farmette in Central Virginia with her husband, three teenage children, goldador, german shepherd, ducks and chickens. She is an Outpatient Therapist at Empower Counseling with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health and an additional Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling. She specializes in working with families, couples and those who have experienced trauma, abuse, church hurt, and grief. Shannon aims to support and encourage women to know themselves and live aware of their belovedness. She is most often found at home with her family, loving time with her husband, creating meaningful moments with her kids, playing games, singing at the top of her lungs, dancing around the house, creating art, caring for her animals, and spending time in nature. Her favorite quote is "What if I fall?" Oh but my darling, what if you fly?" - Erin Hanson. Her favorite verses are Psalm 23:5-6 and Psalm 131.
