hope-notes

Sending a note in your child’s lunch isn’t anything new. I remember my Holly Hobby lunch box in first and second grade always had an index card with a handwritten note from my mom telling me she loved me and would be waiting for me after school.

When I read Robyn’s post about hope and the many different ways we can share it with our children I thought, Wouldn’t these be great to send with my kiddos in their lunch each day?

Whether you handwrite them on index cards or print the ones I’ve created for you below, I hope that you’ll share hope with your children on a daily basis. They need it!

Each set contains the same notes with different background designs plus one blank one for you to write your own message. Please feel free to print, pin, and share as you’d like. If you do repost, please link back to this one so that we can keep encouraging everyone to share hope with our children and build them up to be salt and light in this world!

  1. I love these, thank you for making them available. I’ve always written lunch box notes as well, even as my kids started back to school today, my sophomore asked me if I was planning on writing one for her lunchbox today 🙂 They are special to the kids for sure!

  2. What a great idea! I love these, and I would write more, but I’m on my way to the printer!

  3. Thank you for sharing these! I did this last year and my daughter always looked forward to the little notes in her lunch. What a wonderful little way to remind our precious children each day how much we love them.

  4. This is AWESOME! I have great plans each year to slip notes into lunchboxes but as the days unfold and we scurry in the morning before school, most of the time I run out of time to think of fun things to write. I’ve actually been looking for something just like this. Thank you so much! These will get printed soon and set in the cupboard to have ready to grab and put in their lunchboxes in the mornings! Yay!!!

  5. These are handy. I plan to send them in my husband’s lunchbox. As a teacher, he needs encouragement, too.

  6. Thank you so much for offering these for us to print! I just purchased some lunch notes from the store, but they are just fun not scripture! Love these!

  7. Thank you ever so much for sharing these printables. They are really appreciated
