The Blues Cure for Mom

It was winter, a blizzard raged outside, but inside the cozy home despair was raging inside the heart of this young mom.  My son was a newborn and he was…

Tim Tebow’s Christmas Lesson

I’ve never heard Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow talk about Christmas. But a few weeks back, as I was watching the controversy he sometimes attracts, I realized there was a…

Simple or Sparkle?

It’s a simple ornament made of thin cheap metal and it looks quite out of place on our CHRISTmas tree. But each year I lovingly and safely nestle it amongst…

After losing my mom just a little over a month ago, having my dad come stay with us two weeks, lots of company for Thanksgiving (most of them staying in…

The Pretty Nightie Challenge certainly ignited a few confessional conversations amongst me and my girlfriends. I might have even bought and shipped a somewhat pretty nightie to one of my fellow MomLife Today bloggers. (She shall remain nameless.)

Our Spiritual Enemy is Like a Snake . . . and You Can Defeat Him!

In the last sixty days I have encountered three snakes at my feet. What I have learned has impacted me body and soul. The first time, was at my brother’s…
