All Summer long on Mondays we’re making or building something. Today we baked a cake. But baking a cake doesn’t have to take long or be complicated to be a lot of fun. In fact with 3 ingredients and about 5 minutes you can have as many mini cakes to decorate as you’d like!

This recipe is courtesy of my Mom and thanks to her we had a lovely afternoon and a mini cake decorating contest!

You’ll need:

* A box cake mix, any flavor
* A box of Angel Food Cake mix
* A small round container. We used ramekins, but a small bowl will do just fine.
* 2 TBSP Water

Combine the cake mix and Angel Food cake mix and whisk together until combined. Measure 3 TBSPs of the combined cake mix into your microwave safe container. Add 2 TBSP water. Mix and microwave on high for 1 minute.

3 TBSP Cake Mix + 2 TBSP Water + 1 Minute in the microwave = A Tiny delicious cake ready to decorate however you’d like.
